Betsy Ross. Abigail Adams. Deborah Sampson.
From the very earliest days of the American Revolution, women played a pivotal role in supporting the cause for freedom and shaping the future of our country. The American Revolution could not have been won without the aid of the women who supported it. Sons of the American Revolution, Philadelphia Continental Chapter is proud to recognize the important role women have played, and continue to play, in supporting the cause for liberty.
As an alternative to Daughters of the American Revolution, wives and daughters of our members are welcome to join the Ladies' Auxiliary, and the Auxiliary now accepts applications from all women who want to support our cause. If you are a woman who would like to join our Ladies' Auxiliary and you have a husband or a brother who you believe may be eligible to join the S.A.R. we encourage you to have him fill out our Application Form.
